Tango Experience brings together 15 talented musicians from across Finland, from Ylläs to Helsinki and from Pihtipudas to Turku. Tango Experience is Europe's largest professionally operating orchestra specializing in tango, and its passion is both golden age dance music and newer concert tango. Many of Tango Experience's musicians also have significant solo careers and are regular guests at numerous festivals both in Finland and abroad.

The orchestra's leader Sami Pirttilahti has performed worldwide with bandoneon maestros such as Julio Pane and Nestor Marconi, as well as with bandoneonists Victor Lavalle and Hector del Curto, known from Osvaldo Pugliese's orchestra. Sami won the international Che Bandoneon competition in the United States in 2018 and placed second in Astor Piazzolla's global 100th anniversary competition in Italy in 2021.

At Tango Frostbite, Tango Experience will play music from orchestras including D'Arienzo, Troilo, and Pugliese.
